Cobalt B12 2.5l

Nutritional Drench with vitamins A, D and E
- All of a mature sheep's vitamin B requirements are manufactured by bacteria in the rumen.
- A lamb's source of Vitamin B12 is from its mother's milk.
- At weaning lambs can become deficient if the bacteria have not reached a sufficient number to produce its requirements.
- Another common cause is low levels of cobalt in the forage without which a lamb cannot produce any vitamin B12.
- Cobalt supplements must be delivered to the rumen.
- Vitamin B12 is essential to the conversion of proprionic acid to succonate and then to glucose for energy.
